| ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF My name is Domingo Barbiery. Born, raised, and educated in San Francisco, California, I have been living in France for the last 30 years. I arrived in Paris on April 1st, 1976 on a hot, magnificent, April fool's day, at the height of a drought Europe had been witnessing for some time. The sun, the light, the beauty of this new world seduced me, thrilled me, won me over, and from that day on and I have never looked back. My trip was to be a short one. Now, 30 years later, I look at the world I have created here and am very happy to see myself at the heart of a communications network sharing my American culture, my experience and helping others to move on in their lives through languages, making a connection between two worlds - the old and the new. In those 30 years I have met people from all walks of life, and this, thanks to language. First, me learning French, then perfecting my Spanish for my own personal growth, and finally teaching at numerous venues in and around Paris. Language has been and is a key to success and it has moved me in many ways, offering an opportunity to know my world, to learn so much from my "students", and to share that with everyone I have worked with.
